This is the sign that almost wasn't. We had the perfect wooden sign board (which we think may have started its life as a chair back for a small school chair), the "A", the "M" (actually a "W"), the "E", and...
...no "N"!

We found a nice assortment of license plates, but they were heavy on numbers and light on letters.

Wendy sent out a plea on Facebook for an "N", with no luck.

Finally, the ultimate sacrifice. The week before Hanging Day, Wendy's Mom mailed her the license plate from her first car. So cute, she had a vanity plate with her name. We're so fortunate Wendy has an "N" in her name, and we're even more fortunate she was willing to take the tin snips to the license plate and donate the "N" to the project.
